HISTORY:

Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati was started in 1996 by the Government of Maharashtra to remove the technical educational backlog of Vidarbha region. Initially it was started as one of the departments of Government College of Engineering Amravati.

Subsequently in the year 1999, it acquired the status of full-fledged College of Pharmacy. The institute in this short span has established its credibility to impart quality education. Presently it is conducting four years degree course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), which is affiliated to the Amravati University, Amravati.

OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to provide motivated, skilled and competent manpower catering to the needs of the Pharmaceutical industry, Hospitals and Community Health Care Systems. The object is to provide healthy education climate, utilize resources optimally and develop competent and competitive work force , compatible with the changing needs of the society.

The institute provides with quality student centered educational opportunities, which promote over all personality development, employability and responsible citizenship. The institution uses creative instructional methods in tandem with professional support services, which are integral with the success of all students. The college has a learning environment that maximizes the educational achievement, resources, technology and institutional facilities. The students are given every opportunity to develop their personality and enhance their employment potential.

VISION:

Offering wide range of Pharmacy educational programmes to provide well qualified and trained manpower to cater to the needs of the society in general and community health care system in particular. Our endure is to promote entrepreneurship qualities amongst the students of the institute.

Academics

College has excellent academic record at university examination level and our students provided their excellence standard an GATE, GRE, TOFFEL, CAT and GMAT Examinations.

This year our final year result was 100%.
